08/12/07 the 1:13pm show.. Because I have absolutely nothing better to do.... [ ] [ mood | Awesome ] [ music | Kansas ] I've decided to update. A lot has happened since May 11th, I'll try to remember most of it. I bought my MacBook with my own money and I'm so proud of myself for doing it. Pete and I have been going out for over seven months which I love. We saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It was pretty alright, but nothing can compare to the Prisoner of Azkaban. About a week later Pete bought me Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It's hard to believe that the series is actually finished. Its a decade of your life gone. I guess it isn't THAT significant to most people, but I was pretty upset. At least I still have the movies left. The seventh book will make for a damn good movie. Pete's birthday was on the seventh. For his birthday, Ang, Mike, Pete and I went to see Evil Dead the Musical. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. We were in the splatter zone and Ash killed one of the candarian demons in front of us. Let's just say we were drenched in fake blood and it was one of the most kickass moments ever. It stained my bra which is super awesome. Whenever I put it on, I'm like "sweet." I can't believe I forgot. Pete, Ang, Paul and I went to see The White Stripes. It was one of the most amazing concerts I've been to. Mona and I went to Ikea yesterday to get some stuff for back to school. I can't believe how cheap everything is there. I only spent about one hundred dollars and I got two huge bags full of stuff. Anyway Pete comes home tonight. Nine days until Justin Timberlake. 20 days until Ang and I move. Holy crap. I have to defer my fees. Woops. KBYE. 1

05/11/07 the 10:00am show.. Yesterday [ ] Was a really good day. I worked until three and then Pete came and met me. We walked to his house through the Blind School park. It was pretty. Anyway we got ready and then his Dad came and picked us up. We went to his house for dinner and I met his girlfriend Theresa. She's pretty alright. Pete's Dad is great. I was hella nervous. And Angela Q didn't make things better by calling my phone twice during dinner. God damnit. What a bitch. After dinner we went to the Beat Goes On, and then we went to Boston Pizza to have a drink. We decided to go to my house to see what time the movie started at - 10:00. Anyway Angela called us about 8 times so we finally answered the phone and her and Mike were down town at New Orleans Pizza. So Pete and I went to pick them up and then decided that we wanted some Dairy Queen. Well Pete decided he wanted Dairee Delight and the rest of us were like "Okay no, Dairy Queen." Well Pete got his Flurrie and had me try some frozen yogurt. It wasn't bad, just not my thing. So we went to Dairy Queen and Mike got a cone and I got a Kit-Kat blizzard. Mmmmmmmmmmm. Thats gold. We got to the theatre right before ten and decided we were going to the 10:30 show. We dicked around in the Arcade for a while and then we went to the movie. Spiderman 3 was really good. James Franco is SO dreamy. I still think Kirsten Drunkst ruins it. But seriously Venom and the Sandman are SO fucking cool. I regret falling asleep for some of it. I didn't know that Harry died until after the movie. Its really sad. Anyway see it. I just realized I spoiled it for you. I don't even care. I love Peter and I had a wonderful night. 3

05/05/07 the 11:33pm show.. [ ] Vegetarian Bri is no more. This morning I was on the phone with Ang... being all hungover and we got to talking about popcorn chicken. And I was all.. "you know, I want some popcorn chicken." So then Holly, And and I went to Wendy's because KFC is too far and we got some chicken fingers. They were pretty good. And I kind of felt sick, but not too sick. So we met up with Joey, Erica and Kerr, and went to Williams. And then we went to Burger King and I got some chicken fries. Mmmm. I like chicken. Berardi is supposed to be there when I take my first bite of a hamburger. I don't know when thats coming... but soon enough. Anyway thats some news. Last night was pretty damn fun too. 2

05/03/07 the 3:46pm show.. A little update... [ ] [ music | I'm actually watching Oprah ] I am SO excited for life! Everything is going really well right now. Here's my good list: Peter is home. Brand New is in exactly TWO weeks, Angelab!!!! NCO called today, and I'm probably going to work there part-time, making my job count three. I don't really care, it's more money for university. Pete and I are going to see The White Stripes!!! which is hella exciting and I'm so glad he asked me to go... even after our first "fight" if you can call it that. I applied to OSAP and UTAPS so I'm almost entirely sure that I'll have enough money for University. I applied to Innis residence and I pray that I get it. I don't want to live in Chestnut. I have enough money to buy a laptop now. I don't know if I can think of anything else. And At the moment I don't have a bad list. Last night was pretty fun. Peter, his friend Maclean and I went to McGonagals? I don't know how to spell it. Anyway They ordered some beer, and me being the girl that I am ordered a Purple Rain, and the bartender didn't even know what it was so I had to tell him how to make it. I thought that was pretty good. We watched the hockey game and talked and then Pete and I went and watched Spiderman. We weren't able to finish it because I worked this morning, but hopefully we will soon. Who's up for partying tomorrow night? I hope I'm not too tired.

04/28/07 the 8:29pm show.. [ ] Pretty pissed right now. I've been sleeping since I've got off work. I have this ridiculous head ache that doesn't seem to be going anywhere. KY ROSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really sorry I can't make it man. How about we do an Abba on the weekend... or Habba.. or whoever hangs out with us. Let me know man. Happy Birthday! 1

04/13/07 the 10:28pm show.. [ ] [ music | Intervention!!!111 ] So I have tonsillitis. Its like the first time I've ever been really sick... minus the flu and whatnot. Anyway, its a bitch. We don't have a lot of soup in the house so I'm mad. I'm too lazy to make tea... and even if I do have something hot.. its soothes the throat but I get all gross and clammy. Simon's party was tonight. I would have loved to go... but whatevs. This way I get to watch Intervention. My birthday is next Saturday! 19!!! I am so excited. Ladies... lets go out for dinner? 04/07/07 the 12:11am show.. Dear Everyone, [ ] Go and see Grindhouse now. "I never miss. It's two against the world, baby." Freddy is SO hot. I can't even think straight. My mind was blown multiple times. It's like everything awesome was thrown into a movie. Kickass. Anyway, the music ruled. The fake trailers RULED. Werewolf Women of the SS directed by Rob Zombie. Like, who comes up with that? Geniuses. That's who. Hobo with a shot gun. Also, to all of those who didn't see it, because they didn't even know what it was, you hella missed out. Maybe try expanding your horizons. You'd be impressed. Who's up for another round? I know Danny is. 3

04/01/07 the 4:54pm show.. Its time for an update. [ ] [ music | Sam Cooke ] Life is going really well. Last weekend I went and visited Pete in Ottawa. We had a really good time. We went out for dinner a few times, I met some of his friends, they played me a song and we went to the Art Gallery. We also walked by the American embassy. It's flippin intimidating. What an ugly building. I wish I brought my camera. Anyway, I won't see him until May. I hope it won't be too hard. This week was also pretty intense. When I got home from Ottawa I found out I was accepted into King's at Western. However, I'm not going there. I worked Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday Angelab and I went to Toronto. We shopped, and went to Fresh. After that long day, we went to watch Taking Back Sunday at Arrow Hall. Damn do they ever suck the sixth time around. Whatever though, it was one of the best Christmas presents I've ever had. Thanks again Angela. We best keep this tradition going. We have such a good time. Friday was Born Ruffians at The Ford Plant. Amanda picked Angela and I up and we invented the best drink EVER. "The Pom Collins" Anyway, its Pom juice, Pomegranate pop, five shots of pomegranate liquor and triple sec. Its like kool-aid. Anyway, we drank that, partied at Turples with the usual crowd, sang some Harvey Birdman/ Aqua Teen theme songs, watched 12oz Mouse (No idea why) and danced. It was a pretty sweet night. I worked yesterday and Talked to Pete last night. Nothing big. And tonight I'm staying in because I work all week, lame. Also, I was accepted into the University of Toronto for Cinema Studies. Get excited. That is where I'll be headed in the fall. ALSO I'm going to The Daily Show in July, and possibly the Colbert Report in May. I'm not going to get my hopes up for Colbert again. I don't know if I can count on anyone to come which is pretty sad.

03/11/07 the 10:52pm show.. [ ] [ mood | Horrible ] I'm in the worst mood ever. Friday was really fun. We saw 300 and then The Meligrove band. I busted early. I had a headache. Which has managed to remain this entire weekend. The headache is really nothing though. As of right now, we're not going to The Colbert Report anymore. I can't believe I just typed that. I can't believe Ang and Holly can't get it off work. This would have been such an amazing experience. It's New York. This was the perfect time to go too. We won't be able to afford it again. We'll be in school for the next four years. We'll be working in the summer. And now I have to wait another six months to even try to get tickets again. I've never been this upset about missing out on something, but seriously Stephen Colbert is a HUGE deal to me. Hopefully Mona will end up coming along. I'll find that out tomorrow.

03/01/07 the 6:58pm show.. I may as well update since Angela is a stupid bitch who doesn't call me. [ ] [ mood | bored ] [ music | Bright Eyes - The Centre of the World ] I hate Angela. Anyway. Last week Pete came home. It was one of the best weeks ever. the 16th was our Valentines Day. We went out for dinner in Hamilton at this restaurant called the Bean Bar. It was so good. They had live music too which was really neat. The guy totally played Bright Eyes, Feist, and the Postal Service. We exchanged gifts. Pete got me Indecision 2004, he pre-ordered me the last Harry Potter book! Oh how I love him. And he got me a bit of candy (Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans!!!) I got him about 5 pounds of candy because I felt bad that his poster didn't arrive. It should be here soon though, and then I'll mail it to him. In the next few days, I met his Mom (wow awkward) and quite a few of his friends. They're pretty coo. I think Yanni is my fav. The first thing he said to me was "so what's your story?" HA. Love it. That night, Pete was pretty distracted by his H.P. Lovecraft Board Game. It's ridiculously complicated. I don't even want to try to explain it. I read the first few pages of them manual and I have NO idea. We watched the Departed two nights in a row. Went and partied at Holly's/Chris' house. Went out for a couple romantic dinners... Watched the last episode of The OC. We were pretty damn busy. I miss that man. Anyway. Three weeks until I see him again. In New York. Thats going to be SO nuts. All of us waiting in line on West 54th Street and then BLAM Pete walks up. And another BLAM we're at a taping of The Colbert Report. Am I ever glad I took a year off. Life couldn't get any better.

02/15/07 the 6:29pm show.. [ ] [ music | Seinfeld ] It turns out it wasn't Pete's present in the mail. It was my birth certificate which I'll need to get across the border when I go and see STEPHEN COLBERT. 02/15/07 the 3:29pm show.. [ ] [ mood | happy ] [ music | Limousine - Brand New ] I know Valentine's day is a greedy ploy from card and chocolate companies... but still I enjoy it. Yesterday was actually Valentine's day, but mines on Saturday because Pete's not here right now. Anyway, he called last night and played me a song. It was so sweet. He's talented. No one has ever done anything like that for me before and it meant a lot. What a sweet boy. I'm excited for Saturday. His present came in the mail today. I'm going to pick it up. I hope he loves its life. Went to the doctors today. Got teh pill. Good. thats done and over with for three months. 35 days until The Colbert Report.

02/09/07 the 6:10pm show.. I am SO ridiculously happy right now. [ ] [ mood | ecstatic ] [ music | Stephen and the Colberts ] I doubt anything can bring me down. It was a good day to begin with. I made an appointment with my doctor, I was with my aunt all afternoon, I bought Pete a few more things for Valentines day, and I got myself two really cute shirts. I'd say it was good... Until I got home. I went downstairs and checked my email; the usual Facebook messages, a couple of statements made by the Prime Minister... and then BLAM dead centre... AUDIENCE Immediately I flipped out. I opened the email and I have FOUR TICKETS TO THE COLBERT REPORT ON MARCH 22ND!!!!! HOLY FRICKEN CRAP. Could life get any better. Well yes it could and it does... Pete comes home next week. Anyway, Pete, Ang, Mike and I are going to go. It will probably be the best double date ever. And I also want Holly to come with us. You should bring Travis. So while we're in the studio you guys can go look for Bowie's house or something. Or visit the store from hell! aka. The best store in the world. I wish I could have got five tickets... but the limit was four. I'm so excited. I'll get to witness The Word first hand. Maybe Better Know A District.. or Who's Riding My Coat Tails Now? Or maybe even a "We Did It!" balloons and everything!!!! Hopefully the satellite feed to the Daily Show will be working that night. Maybe even a fourth Green Screen Challenge! Or updates on Stephen Jr.!!!!! Maybe even all of them! I can dream. I've never been this excited for anything in my life. 5

02/01/07 the 11:42am show.. [ ] [ music | Alkaline Trio ] So tonight, Pete and I are supposed to be going to Blue Rodeo. I'm still not sure if he'll be able to make it home. He doesn't exactly have a lot of money and he really shouldn't miss school. I think he has an essay to hand in on Friday morning. I'd like to see him, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. I'm pretty excited for Christina's girl night. I don't know if I'm going to dress up or not. I'm still deciding on that one. I also get to Kerrigan and Erica this weekend. Thats going to be awesome. I don't know how I'll pull it off though considering I work both days. Meh... I'll find a way. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes out on July 21st. Holy crap get excited. I have to call school and give Vanny my OUAC reference number still. I just keep forgetting. 1

I can't wait to go to Ottawa on Friday. Angela Q never called me back, so I'm going to punch her. I have to straighten out the whole Transcript business with the schools I applied to. I need to find another job. Annnnnnnnnd I'm pretty tired. Besides that, life is grand. I mean, yeah I'm bored a lot. But I'm not upset. I just need to find a new job. Maybe stripping. And I'm not just saying that because they bought me presents... it's because I actually kind of like them a tad... But Yeah Mander got me a follow-up to her Grade eleven HILARIOUS Christmas presents of Kareoke cd's that I didn't have a kareoke player for. THIS YEAR... SHE GOT ME ONE! LITTLE TIKES! 4+!!!! We're going to see TAKING BACK SUNDAY for the SIXTH time together on march 29th. AHAHAHAHHA Ang, it'll be less than a year since we last saw them. 8 Months exactly. 12/06/06 the 11:32pm show.. [ ] [ mood | confused ] [ music | Harvey Birdman Attourney at Law ] Queens? U of T? Kings? Queens would be for Film Studies and History, along with U of T. Ryerson is out because it doesn't have history. Kings would be for history or PPE. What do I do? I'm so scared. Film studies? History? Philosophy? Economics? Teacher... or something else? Why can't everything just come to you at once. I think Kyleigh and I should go to a psychic tomorrow.... or soonish. Like damn. Amanda and Angela came over today. We had a Strangers with Candy marathon. Well it wasn't really a marathon, but we watched I think four episodes. GOLD. Chuck and Geoffrey are so amazing. Anyway, tomorrow I work until nine, and then it's almost friday, which means party. And saturday means THE CONSTANTINES. HOLY CRAP. GET EXCITED. 6
